Kirawira Camp:
The camp is built in the remote regions of the Grumeti
River and is home to a wide variety of big game
- lion, buffalo, cheetah, wildebeest, giraffe, baboon,
gazelle. Guests at Kirawira Camp may be lucky enough
to witness some of the magnificent spectacle of
millions of wildebeest crossing the Grumeti River
during their annual migration across the Serengeti
plains. From almost anywhere, there are spectacular
vistas of the Serengeti stretching to the horizon. |
| Tarangire Treetops
: consists of 20 stunning ‘tree-house’
style chalets, approximately 55sq metres in size,
set up into the baobab and marula trees. Each room
has been designed using a mixture of contemporary
and natural materials and has its own ensuite bathroom
with double shower and vanity, mosquito nets, hairdryer,
fan and a large private verandah overlooking the
plains of Tarangire. The camp is small, luxury,
fully inclusive and personally hosted. |
 |
|
Tarangire Treetops sits within a private Conversation
Area bordering Tarangire National Park, in the
path of Tarangire’s elephant migration.
Covering an area of 2600 sq kilometers the National
Park literally teems with wildlife throughout
the year with a dense population during the dry
season (June – October). Tarangire is home
to some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa,
passing the lodge on their way to watering at
the Sand River. Situated just at the border outside
the park, the area has all the same species of
wildlife as the Tarangire National Park, including
leopard, lion, cheetah, lion and buffalo.

Kirurumu Tented Lodge is a luxury tented lodge
built upon the Gregorian Escarpment of the Great
Rift Valley. Set in this stunning location, it
overlooks a spectacular panorama across Lake Manyara
to Mount Losimongori and miles of seemingly untouched
Africa. An idyllic resting place welcomes the
Safari weary traveler to an informal private and
relaxing retreat.
Accommodation is in large walk-in tents, built
under thatched structures with good-sized wooden
verandas to the front.
|
| There are some new tents
being built at the moment, which promise to be excellent,
with breathtaking locations, set into the edge of
the rift, and with staggering views into the Kirurumu
river gorge. |
Olivers Camp:
This Campsite is located in the middle of the Tarangire
National Park, in the west the Silale Swamps and
in the east the Tarangire River, which are attracting
every year from July to December huge herds of wildebeest,
zebra, buffalo and elephant!
The camp features only 8 beautifully furnished luxury
tents.
|
 |
Every tent has beautifully made local
wooden furniture and is decorated with flowers and
African cloth; each has its own warm private shower
and toilet tent attached at the rear. Whilst Oliver's
Camp is very comfortable and superbly run by the
small dedicated crew, it's not the place to go if
you are looking for serious luxury. But this is
one of Tanzania's best bush camps and a place designed
to compliment the unspoilt wilderness of this area,
experiencing wildlife while being part of the nature!

Migration Camp
is a permanent luxury lodge in the Serengeti National
Park in Tanzania. The lodge is located in the Northern
Coridor of the park, on the main wildebeest migration
route between the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara,
along the bank of the Grumeti River. It is raised
up on the side of an impressive kopje known as Poacher's
Lookout, with broad views north over the undulating
Serengeti hills and beyond to the plains of the
Maasai Mara.
|
| This part of the park
is a quiet backwater compared with the more visited
areas to the south and the very busy Maasai Mara
to the north. In fact less than 1% of the total
visitors to the eco-system of the Serengeti reach
this remote corner. Up here you can really experience
the wild side of the Serengeti. |
| The Mbalageti
Serengeti is located in the Western
corridor of the Serengeti National Park, at the
Mwamyeni hill. The luxurous lodge consists of 26
luxury tented chalets and exclusive tented suites
spread out to ensure privacy and exclusivity. Sunset
or sunrise, each side of the hill accommodates 12
of the 24 luxury tented chalets. Each has full en-suite
bathroom and a private veranda from which you can
enjoy the panoramic views of the Serengeti plains
and the Mbalageti River - after which the camp is
named.
|
 |
| The design is modern and incorporating
local materials from the area combined with comfort
and luxury. The thatched roof on the verandah is
working as an extension to your bedroom in the wild
and the chalets are all furnished and finished with
attention to the smallest detail. |
